APPLICATION PROCEDURES AND POLICIES

NO APPLICATION SHOULD BE MADE UNTIL AFTER VIEWING PROPERTY

It will not be considered unless property has been seen by prospective resident or by someone on their behalf.

NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY
Public Investment Corporation adheres to the Fair Housing Act and will not discriminate against any person based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, or national origin.

POLICIES REGARDING APPLICATIONS

• All applications must be filled out completely
• Public Investment Corporation charges a $40 non-refundable fee for each Applicant. If property has not been seen DO NOT APPLY
• Online applications require credit card for payment
• Paper applications require check or money order payment
• No cash will be accepted
• All U.S. citizens must submit a driver’s license or state-issued ID and social security number and proof of verifiable income.
• All non-U.S. citizens must submit a photo ID (state-issued ID, driver’s license or passport) and a completed I-20 form and proof of verifiable income.
• Public Investment Corporation will check applicants' credit, employment history, prior landlord information, and criminal background within 3 business days following receipt of the application and fee.
• All units will continue to be marketed as available until a lease is signed and security deposit is paid in full. Applicant(s) may be given a deadline to sign a lease and pay the security deposit if other Applicant(s) are ready to sign.
• Security deposit is due in full at the time of the lease signing.
• If each Applicant is not present at the lease signing, the Applicant(s) present at the signing carry the responsibility of the entire lease agreement until all roommates are signed onto the lease.

The Applicant must qualify for tenancy based upon Public Investment Corporations’ current background and credit check Guidelines as published on this website.

SHOWINGS OF PROPERTIES

Public Investment Corporation endeavors to give Current Residents reasonable notice of a showing of their unit.

Public Investment Corporation is only able to show properties by appointment between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00pm Monday through Friday.

Public Investment Corporation cannot transport individuals. Applicant(s) must provide their own transportation between the office and properties.
